Dermablend SkinPerfector Redness Reducing Primer Review & Photos

A good primer in my makeup routine is a total must! Some think it is more of a luxury product than a necessity but I disagree. I personally can notice a huge difference in the way my makeup looks and wears throughout the day when I have a good primer. My makeup looks flawless, applies more smoothly and lasts a lot longer when I wear a primer. Now there are plethoras of primers out there that claim to do many different things like reducing the appearance of pores, shine, redness etc.

The newest edition to my primer collection is the Dermablend SkinPerfector Redness Reducing Primer ($45). This particular primer helps to reduce the appearance of redness with its light green tint that counteracts and diminishes the appearance of red skin, all while calming dry skin and soothing any irritation.

I personally have very sensitive skin with lots of red areas and some dry patches. This primer works great for my skin because it combats all three of these issues. The primer applies very smoothly to my skin and absorbs quickly allowing me to add my foundation right away. Just be careful when you squeeze the tube, a lot likes to flow out at once if you squeeze too hard. Not only does this primer reduce my redness and calm my irritated dry skin but it also leaves a smooth base for my foundation application. When wearing this primer my makeup stays put all day. Moreover, I had no issues with this primer on my sensitive skin, bonus!

This is a great option if you are looking to get a primer to help reduce the appearance of redness and increase the longevity of your makeup application throughout the day. The price point may seem high to many but a little goes a long way; therefore, I see this lasting me several months, making the price point more reasonable.

Macys, Dillards, Ulta, and select other local stores.
