Family Snow Day

Hello Loves!

I am finally getting this post up from our first snow day here in TX this year. My sister was actually visiting at this time and was actually suppose to leave the day we got a ton of snow, so she ended up staying until it started to melt of the roads the next day. My sister and I went on a a huge hunt looking for the right gloves that snow wouldn’t melt through, as well sleds that we could use to slide down the mountain. After looking at 3 stores we quickly learned that they don’t carry that kinda stuff where I live, since we maybe get snow for 2 days out of the year lol. We ended up heading to the park anyway where they have a huge hill off the mountain that we could slide down. We took lids off our storage bins and used those. They kinda sucked to use but we had fun none the less.

It was my son’s first time playing in snow and he absolutely LOVED it! He kept saying, “snowman, snowman” and didn’t want to leave. He especially loved making snowballs and throwing them at everyone. My daughter was terrified going down the mountain and her gloves kept getting wet from the snow so I ended up giving her mine at the end. Im not gonna lie my hands were frozen after that and after about an hour I couldn’t feel my toes haha. I should have worn thicker socks lol.

A lot of the photos we took were over exposed, but here are a few we got that weren’t!

My son right after he finished sliding down the mountain with his dad.

His face says it all….He LOVED it!
