Getting fit with

As part of my New Year’s Resolution this year I made it a goal to get back on my track with my fitness. If you read my resolution post I explained why I had not been working out, but to recap for those who have not read it, I developed diastasis recti after giving birth to my son. I still have diastasis recti 17 months later and finally got tired of putting off my workouts hoping it would heal. For now, I am just extremely careful when working out and make sure to always engage my core, so that it’s not pushing forward. I also try and avoid exercises that cause my stomach to push forward, as that will cause my diastasis recti to rip further apart.
