Getting the mot use out of the pieces I buy is very important to me. No one likes to spend money on a one time wear item, well maybe celebs do but I certainly don’t. I try to find pieces that are staples in my wardrobe and can be worn over and over in different ways. I have had this crochet lace crop top in my wardrobe for a few years now and I still get so much use from it. When I first styled it on the blog I wore it with a pair of high waisted navy denim in this post here. I love how versatile it is and how easy it can be worn with denim or over a dress like I have done today. It instantly dresses up an outfit and makes it look classy, which I love! I paid under $20 for it and though it’s no longer available, the same company I got it from years ago came out with a very similar top. It’s the same crotchet lace pattern top but it has half sleeves instead and isn’t as short in length. It’s only $22.99 and is just as gorgeous!
This spaghetti strap chambray dress is a new piece I added to my wardrobe this year but I have already worn it several times. I have styled it with a lighter wash denim jacket and flat sandals for one look and in another look I wore a leather crop jacket over it with heeled sandals. You can see all three looks styled side by side here. In today’s look, I wore it underneath the crotchet lace crop top for a completely different look. I love how versatile chambray pieces are and know I will get so much more wear out of this very affordable dress. It’s actually on sale for $16 right now, which is a total steal!
Another new item added to my wardrobe this year was this nude suede/patent blush foldover clutch adorned with a tassel zipper. The nude tone matches everything and I just love how gorgeous it is. I worn this clutch in one of last weeks post here as well. I also bought it in the olive shade, which I wore in this post here. It’s a great quality clutch and super affordable at under $25!
The last piece in this look are these nude patent pumps. A pair of nude pumps is a must in every girls wardrobe and trust me, you will get plenty of use out of them! I finally invested in this pair of nude pumps because I got so much use from my previous pair and believe it’s one of the pieces you invest in. I actually got my pair of Kate Spade Licorice Too pumps on sale, so it wasn’t too big of an investment for me. I know some girls splurge on the Christian Louboutins but I’m not ready to take that leap yet. I like the lower heel on these ones and the perfect pointed toe. Ever since I had my second child my feet and body for that matter cant’t stand the extremely high heels. These ones are comfortable for me and I wear them ALL the time!
