Happy Monday!
I know it’s been a hot minute since my last blog post but one of my New Years resolutions was to get back to posting regularly on the blog. Since becoming our own boutique owner with LulaRoe, being pregnant and moving across country twice last year, I was insanely busy leaving little time for the blog. We now have an awesome team of assistants working with us to help free some time up for the hubby and I so I thought it was perfect timing to get the blog back up and running.
I wore this super comfy and casual look last week when our friends came into town to visit. We ended up going to Blaze Pizza for lunch (one of the hubbies and kiddos favorite pizza places) and ran around town a bit. One of my newest obsession right now is fitted top tucked into high-waisted denim. Why I never tried high waisted denim before it beyond me but its a game changer! Most of you long time readers know I got diastasis recti (abdominal wall separation) after my son Rayden first and I still have it after my second son (third child). Wearing the high-rise denim helps to suck that all in and be a little less noticeable for me. I also recently started the workout program on the SWEAT app which has been helping a lot too with my diastasis recti.
This is the third or fourth pair of high-waisted denim I have purchased in the last month. I’m obsessed! You all know the Stiletto line from Current Elliott is my absolute favorite, so when I found these super cute high-rise distressed jeans on sale (40% off!) I couldn’t pass them up. If your short like me (5’2″ the stiletto jeans are the perfect length, which is why I love them so much!). I’ve worn the Gigi top tucked into my high-rise denim jeans with a layering piece over it, like this long duster Sarah cardigan non-stop lately. It’s currently my go-to look!
