It’s been almost 9 years since we met and 6 years since we wed and to this day I still believe that my husband is the hardest working man I know and he does it all to provide for our little family. He is in the Military and more often than not is working more than the average 8 hour day. Not to mention he has deployed multiple times serving his country, and only those who have been their will ever understand how hard of a job that truly is. During this time we have been separated many times due to these deployments and other military training. In our first 3 years of marriage alone, we saw each other for a total of 9 months. Of course this was spread out over the 3 year period and not consecutively. We have also moved more times then I can count, which was a struggle sometimes in it’s own.
Not only is he a hardworking man but also a very driven, dedicated, intelligent and focused man. Starting his PhD at the age of 27 motivated me everyday to make it through my Master’s degree. He supports me whole hardy and always stands up and fights for me when need be. He is a wonderful dad to our son and daughter, and not to mention a great cook. He cleans the house when I am to tired (and even on the lazy days I have). He makes me laugh and I admire how well he connects with a room full of people. Never afraid of anything, he shows me true bravery. He gives me the strength and courage to overcome anything I once thought was impossible. Not only does he rock but he is my rock, my soul mate, my best friend and out families anchor.
As Father’s Day is approaching this Sunday I was trying to think of what gift I could get him this year. I was thinking back to when we first met and the home he owned. He was completely obsessed with Nautica. He had Nautica bedding, shower curtains, clothing, etc. It was clear that only a man lived their so when we wed I may have replaced his Nautica decor with other pieces that were more neutral. Not that I didnt like Nautica but because I wanted it to be more of our home. Knowing his love for Nautica all these years I thought that one of the gifts I got hime this year could be a Nautica Men’s Fragrance Gift Package. He loves to smell good and what girl doesn’t love her man smelling good?! Not to mention, I am kinda obsessed with the Nautical themed packaging of the Nautical Life Gift Set. I can’t wait for him to wear this new fragrance and display the pretty… I mean manly packaging on his bathroom sink (Shh… don’t tell him I said the packaging was pretty).
