Before I started blogging full time I worked at an office full time. I had to work many of the holidays, even those that landed on the weekend, so for those of you who might be working this weekend, here is an outfit idea for the office. Of course you can wear it to a party, on a date, to church or wherever you want!
Also, If you will be attending a BBQ, watching fireworks or spending the day at the park… check out my casual laid back 4th of July look here.
If you are going to brunch with friends or just want a slightly more dressed up look than my laid back casual look but don’t need this dressy of an outfit, check out this 4th of July inspired look I wore.
The red crotchet lace top is actually a dress, and an affordable dress at that! It costs a mere $22 and the quality is superb. Crotchet Lace dresses and tops are very popular in the summer time. I got two last year, but both were in white. This time I opted for this bold bright red. The dress is beautiful and is perfect to wear on date nights or to special events.
White pieces are some of my favorite summer staples. Whether it be a dress, jeans, heels or skirt; they are the perfect blank canvas to build an outfit with. This white pleated midi skirt is one of my favorites and it just so happened to layer perfectly over top of my dress. I love how well the red pops paired with it.
Of course, no patriotic look is complete without a bold red lip! My current favorite red of the moment is the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Red Amour.
For shoes, I posted a this picture on instagram and asked which pair I should wear, and many of you said to go with these gorgeous blue and white striped pumps. I think they totally pull this patriotic outfit look together.
