One of my favorite accessories in the winter time is scarves. They serve a purpose to keep you warm while also elevating your outfit to the next level without even trying. I particularly love blanket scarfs because they keep me extra warm and can be worn in plethora of different ways. As I mentioned in yesterdays post, we had a couple days of snow here in TX right after Christmas. We typically only get 2-3 days a year of snow, so we always take advantage of it. This is the outfit I wore to play in the snow with my family (I will have a post of that up soon!).
I wore my favorite plaid blanket scarf (under $15) with a red boucle coat I got this year and of course my red hunter boots (can’t stop wearing them!). I absolutely love this coat for many reasons… It’s textured, which adds an extra element, the large pockets in the front, the length and of course the quality. Not to mention, the color is stunning! I have had few people stop to tell what a gorgeous coat it is.
I’ve had this scarf for 2 years now and can honestly say its one of the most versatile scarfs I have and it matches more than you may think. I will have another post later this week wearing it again. If you follow me on Instagram you probably have seen several snapshots of me wearing it. You can also see how I styled it with stripes here on the blog here.
