Anyone else believe that Ponchos are fashion‘s clever solution to allow us to wear a comfy blanket in public!? Year after year ponchos prove themselves to be a hot trend and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. They comes in a plethora of styles, prints and cuts… making them easy for anyone to rock.
When I came across this plaid poncho I just had to have it. Not only am I obsessed with plaid in the fall but you can’t go wrong with black and white. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it was pretty affordable at just $38.
There are a number of ways you can style the poncho, depending on the look you are going for. I went with a chic look by wearing all black with this turtleneck, coated skinny jeans and and over the knee boots. Speaking of over the knee boots… I have had a pair of Stuart Weitzmen over the knee boots on my wish list for a while now and just can’t seem to justify paying that much for boots yet, Granted, I have heard they are totally worth the splurge! I am just not ready to take that leap yet, so when I came across these very identical over the knee boots, I immediately ordered them in both black and taupe. They cost only $149 compared to the $700+ SW ones.
