Saucony Life On the Run Collection + $250 GC GIVEAWAY!

Back in High School I use to love running and even joined the cross-country team for a bit. After having my 1st child my workouts turned into ones I could do from home like P90X and Insanity. I could still go on walks and do slow jogging with my daughter in the stroller but it wasn’t as intense of a workout that way. Plus, I love to workout first thing in the morning and my kids are typically still asleep and I don’t want to wake them. After my second child I ended up getting diastasis recti, which I have mentioned many time before on the blog. I am no longer able to do my intense workouts like P90X and Insanity, so I have reverted back to running and light workouts approved for Diastasis Recti like the Mutu System. My husband is usually home in the early morning now, so I am able to go out for a run on my own or I will take the kids to our local park that has a nice running track and even dirt trails for hiking and biking. I love to get my kids active now that they are a bit older and they love going to the park to play, bike and run around.

They great thing about running is that it doesn’t require any equipment other then shoes and workout attire. Headphones are great and my husband cant run without them but I typically don’t need mine to run and it’s not required. Just get out there and run!

A good pair of running shoes makes a huge difference and so does the proper workout attire. I like bottoms that I can move in with ease, that are comfortable and breathable. I like a good supported sports bra and breathable tank in the summer or long sleeve in the Fall with a nice jacket in the Winter. Saucony recently came out with their “Life On the Run Collection” and I have really been enjoying the pieces I got from the collection. I remember getting my first pair of Saucony shoes back in my freshman year of high school. They were on everyone’s wishlist and I was so excited when I got my first pair! To this day I don’t know what happened to those kicks but I recently got his new pair and my feet are in LOVE! They are actually ten times more comfortable then my Nike’s. It’s like walking on clouds for my feet and they are amazing to run in. I highly recommend a pair. Your feet will thank you!

I have never tried out their clothing until about a month ago but I wish I had tried them out sooner. I got a pair of the Fast Track pants (also come in Capri) and they are pure luxury with performance in mind. They move with me and are very breathable. I love how flattering they are with the seams in all the right places.

I also got the Fast Track Bra, which is designed like your typical sports bra but has a dual-layer construction with a wide fabric-covered band under the bust for a compression fit. It provides light to medium impact support. I have several generic sports bras that are the same style but don’t provide the same level of support or protection. I much prefer this dual-layer one with a compression fit. It’s also is very breathable with superior sweat wicking.

I got the speedy chic tank in Fuschia to match the Fast Track Pants and absolutely love this tank. I have a ton of loose tanks like this but I Love the fit of this on and particularly love the low armholes that show the sports bra pattern from the sides and the draped back is perfect!

I wanted a top to match the leggings in the Fall, so I went with the Speedy Chic Long Sleeve Top in Potent Purple from the Life On the Run Collection. I love the gorgeous color and long lean fit of this top. It’s not too tight, which I love and it has ventilated seam details!

The last piece I picked out from the collection is the Speedy Chic Hoodie. This is a great piece for the fall because it adds an extra layer of protection from the chill. It has a cowl front hood that can be unzipped if you get to hot or zipped up if you’re a bit to chilled. It’s very soft and stretchy, so it moves with your body perfectly.

For shoes, I picked out the Life On The Run Kineta Relay because I loved the pattern, just like the Fast Track pants I got. The FORM2U memory foam cushioning in these shoes is ahhmazing!!! It conforms to your foot and feels like pure heaven on your feet. They also have high-abrasion EVA foam with triangular lugs for grip, durability and lightweight cushioning on the bottom. They are very lightweight with breathable mesh as well. I just love this shoe!
